"Show Us Your Style" Design Contest

Overview:

FAIRspot is holding its first official contest to see who can design the best background for the FAIRspot.com site. This is your chance to show us—and possibly the entire FAIRspot community—your personal style. Three (3) Winners will be chosen from the FAIRspot judging panel (TBD) based on the best scores from the following criteria:

1. Personal Style (25%)
2. Concept (25%)
3. Design Aesthetics (25%)
4. Execution/following the rules (25%)

How to Enter:

Entering is easy! Just follow these simple steps:

1. Download the site background template (Photoshop file, .psd). Click Here to Download the Template Now.
2. Save your background image as a .jpg or .gif (max file size 100K).
3. Upload your entry to our submissions form - Click Here

Prizes:

Top 3 winners will receive a "brand new", limited-edition HAND-SIGNED copy of Brand Nu's (Radim Malinic) limited edition book, Book of Colours. This book is Radim's follow-up to his critically acclaimed and now sold out book, Splatter & Shapes from 2007. Book of Colours is 68 pages packed full of awe-inspiring personal and commercial work, limited to a short run of 1000—and it's all yours if you win!

PLUS! Winning backgrounds (along with a select few number of runner-ups) will be displayed on the FAIRspot.com website for the world to see, starting on or around February 15, 2009.

Rules:

These are the basic rules, in no particular order.

1. Your entry must adhere to the guidelines setup in the Site Background Template (width, height and file size).
2. No entries with nudity, profanity or hate messages will be accepted—even if this is your "style".
3. All entries must be received by 12AM PST, January 31, 2009.
4. Contest is open to all countries- we don't care where you live.
5. Contestants must agree to the Terms and Conditions set forth on the submission page.
6. Winners will be contacted on or around February 15, 2009. For a complete list of winners, please email bg-contest-winners@fairspot.com after this date.
7. You must provide a working email when entering to win! How else will we contact you?
8. No limit to the amount of entries, just make sure it's your best work and truly reflects your personal style—before pressing "submit"!
